Winter a.i(poem)

A hush descends upon the frosted hill,

The daylight pales & shadows stretch

their shade.

The world slows down, obedient

& still,

Beneath a canopy of silver made.

Crisp air breathes quiet promise of rest,

While snow drifts slowly over frozen

stone,

To cradle slumber in the Earth’s deep

chest.
